Sometimes a poem will come falling out of me, landing on the page with
almost total substance. Those moments however are few and far between.
The more I write, the more I discover that the way I write is to try
to always "think poetically" and to collect as many fragments
as I can. They come from things I've read, moments on the bus(es), times
that I'm writing letters (I swear that this is true, even though those
that know me can vouch that I have not been, shall we say the best?
yes, the best correspondent over the past years, and other everyday
activities.
And so I write them down and store them. If you write, please feel
free to use any of these bits, though it would be great if you let me
know how and where they fit for you. Thanks!
